Common questions

Is unlimited logging really free?

Yes, forever. Unlimited bottles, tasting notes, pour and fill tracking, your wishlist, search, and CSV export and import are all free, with no bottle cap, ever. Pro adds the analytics dashboard (value over time, spend breakdowns, drinking pace), tasting-note search and stats, and extra widgets. The free tier is not a trial.

Why is there no barcode or label scanner?

Because scanners fail on exactly the bottles collectors care about: store picks, single barrels, older expressions. DramWise is manual-entry-first by design: logging any bottle takes about 30 seconds, and nothing is ever "not in the database." A barcode shortcut may come later; it will never be required.

How do I move my collection from another app?

Export a CSV from your current app (or a spreadsheet), then in DramWise: Settings > Import from CSV. The importer understands common column layouts (OnlyDrams and BarrelBook exports, generic spreadsheets) and shows you a preview, with reasons for any skipped rows, before anything is saved. Re-importing is safe: bottles already on your shelf are skipped.

How do I get my data out?

Settings > Export collection (CSV), free, always. The export opens in any spreadsheet and re-imports cleanly into DramWise itself.

How do I cancel or restore a subscription?

All billing goes through your App Store account, never through us: iOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions shows and cancels everything. In the app, Settings > Restore purchases re-activates Pro on a new device.

Where is my data stored?

On your device and in your personal iCloud. There is no DramWise server, no account, and no analytics. See the privacy policy.
